Errata & Edits

Please download your updated copy of the PDF from the site where you purchased the pattern. If you find an error that is not listed below, please let me know! A general note relating to gauge and needle sizes (applies to all patterns): The needle size listed in all my patterns is the size I used to knit the item in the photos. Since I am a Continental knitter, my gauge is often very loose compared to that of other knitters. You may need to use a larger needle size to achieve the same gauge.

Light Lyric Coloratura Cardigan:

The most recent pattern version is Light Lyric Coloratura Draped-Front Cardigan, 050-120730-RevC. On older versions, the following changes apply:

  • On p. 3, the full-fashioned decrease instructions for both right an left front used to say "dec 1 st at each end of every RS row." They should read:
Right Front, Full-fashioned dec's: "Dec 1 st at end of every RS row"
Left front, Full-fashioned dec's: "Dec 1 st at beg of every RS row". Corrected in revision C.
  • On p. 4 in the instructions for the Front Band, the cast-on number and first two rows are correct. At this point, the original version reads "Next row (RS) K1, work Chart C to last st, K1." This has been changed to: "Next row (RS) Begin working Chart C." The same change applies in the Hem Band section. The K1 at the edges of the band have been removed, since these stitches are included in the chart. Corrected in revision B and later.
  • Old versions call for US #1 dpns. The pattern should read: US 1 (2.5 mm) straight or circular (OR size to obtain gauge). Corrected in revisions A and later.
  • The old version had an error in the directions for the right front, in the "work even" stockinette area before the armhole decreases. The paragraph before the Armhole heading should read: "Work even until piece meas 8 (8, 8, 8, 9.5)[10, 10.5, 10.5, 10.5]" / 20 (20, 20, 20, 24)[25.5, 26.6, 26.6, 26.6] cm from CO edge, then work armhole shaping."
